Rod is a great teacher. He has the patience and positive feedback to keep me motivated and moving forward. He quickly identified my strengths as a beginning guitarist. With his assistance, I am continually discovering new possibilities for improving technique. As a result, I am gaining the confidence to express myself musically. He teaches a variety of musical styles. I am an older adult learner, and he understands the difficulties I experience. He is always willing to answer any questions between lessons. I would strongly recommend him as an excellent guitar teacher.

I found Rod through this link. His first lesson was free to see if it worked for the both of us. I was a total rookie. I’m still working with him after several months. He is patient, prompt, and reliable. I’m still a rookie but I have learned a ton. Most of all I am enjoying learning and playing. I would recommend Rod to anyone wanting to learn the guitar. Simply put, Rod is an amazing teacher. Kind, patient, understanding, and insanely knowledgeable, he’s a pupil’s dream. He has fair prices and is always available if you ever need help. I’m new to guitar though not so new to music. In the grand scheme of things though, I’m a beginner by all accounts. I searched for guitar instructors on-line and came across Rod. I’m glad I did, Rod is great. Rod’s theoretical understanding is awesome and I enjoy learning methods and techniques that will undoubtedly help me later. I appreciate his efforts to train me while also allowing for conversation on various topics of music. I feel the added conversation is valuable. The time passes fast when I’m at my lesson however, I feel like I’ve accomplished something plus have goals for the following week. Thank you Rod!
